Truck Mart LLC has worked with many different charities and organizations over the years. Here are just a few:
- Christ Among Neighbors (CAN)-Their mission is to serve as disciples of Jesus Christ and offer crisis intervention to the community and help support neighbors in need of food, rental assistance, clothing, utilities, medical care, etc.
- Katie’s Place-Serves as a safe distribution site for charitable human services for people within the community (http://katiesplaceatship.org/home/the-thrift-shop-of-katies-place)
- Drew Michael Taylor Foundation-Offers grief support (https://drewmichaeltaylor.org/)
- Boys & girls Club of Chambersburg & Shippensburg-Serves between 250-275 children who participate in enriching after-school programs (https://www.bgccs.org/)
Recent Events:
We raffled off a Dodge Avenger this year at the Shippensburg Community Fair. All proceeds raised were donated to Christ Among Neighbors, a local organization whose mission is the following:
The mission of Christ Among Neighbors is the desire to serve as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ by offering a crisis intervention service to our community.
Through His guidance, we will assist our neighbors, who have exhausted every available means of adequate food, rental assistance, clothing, utilities, medical care, etc.
We raised $5,850.00 during fair week! Thank you to everyone who helped make this donation possible!

Each month we deliver a vehicle to Wheels for Widows, an organization which helps to make a difference in our community by providing reliable transportation to widows and single-parent households. Here are some recent deliveries:
Santa and his elves made a special trip out to Car Starz this holiday season! The Car Starz lot hosted the Annual Community Christmas party which was made possible with the help of the Shippensburg Area Chamber of Commerce and C.A.N.
Santa needed to trade in his sleigh for a new set of wheels!
This past week Truck Mart DBA Car Starz made an appearance at the annual Shippensburg Fair! We got the chance to meet a lot of really great folks in the community (and get dunked by a few of them) and we even raffled off a 2019 Toa Toa. All proceeds were donated to Grand Point Church of Shippensburg. We hope to see you next year!
Truck Mart LLC DBA Car Starz was able to donate a beautiful van to a deserving woman through Community Cares (C.A.R.E.S.). This organization serves the Cumberland County region and helps provide living assistance and resources to those in vulnerable positions. Truck Mart LLC was one of the main sponsors of the Central Pennsylvania Chainsaw Carvers Festival, 2022!
Dirk and Audry Baumgardner met with Marcie Ditzler Taylor to donate the funds raised by the Chainsaw Festival raffle. The money raised will help support their grief education and support programming.
Drew Michael Taylor Foundation is with Dirk Baumgardner and Marcie Ditzler Taylor.
We raffled off two jeeps and a chainsaw during the event. The proceeds raised from the raffle were donated to the Drew Michael Taylor Foundation.

This December some members of the Truck Mart staff volunteered to help with the Shippensburg community annual Christmas Party. Each family who attended received a meal along with presents for the children.
