What Does it Mean to Lease?

When a customer signs up to lease a trailer, they are essentially promising to make a set monthly payment for the use of that trailer for the duration of the length of their lease-term. While the term is still open, the trailer remains the property of Truck Mart LLC but the lessee will be responsible for maintenance costs. The length of the lease term will vary depending on the cost of the trailer. At the end of the term, the customer can either return the trailer to the dealer or choose the buyout option. After paying the small buyout, the trailer will officially be turned over to them. Leasing is a great way to get your hands on high-quality equipment without having to put a lot of money down up-front.
